The vision of the Age-Friendly Initiative in Chelmsford is to inspire efforts for community improvements and innovations that promote healthy aging for residents of all ages and abilities. The success of this initiative is dependent on the involvement of a dedicated and passionate group of Town Officials, Town staff and employees, residents, and business partners that have proactively spearheaded this effort to make Chelmsford even more age-friendly.  These individuals will actively collaborate with civic, business, and non-profit organizations as well as state and local government officials to heighten awareness of the age-friendly movement and implement the items outlined in the Age-Friendly Chelmsford Action Plan - all to spur positive change for the town of Chelmsford.

"When it comes to Age-Friendly Communities, Chelmsford is the Gold Standard."
