Chelmsford Recycling Committee's Composting Survey is LIVE!

Compost

Do you know that food scraps and other compostable waste accounts for over 1 million tons per year, or more than 25% of the waste stream in Massachusetts?

Composting is the best way to get rid of food scraps without sending them to the incinerator. Diverting compostable waste from the trash not only helps the environment, but can reduce disposal costs at the incinerator.

Please help the Chelmsford Recycling Committee determine interest in curbside or drop off composting services to our residents by completing this short survey. Thank you in advance for taking the time to help us gauge interest in these services for our community.

The survey is open to both residents and business owners and will help the committee determine local interest in curbside or drop off composting services.
