The mission of the Chelmsford Board of Health is to achieve the highest level of wellness for all Chelmsford residents and employees by reducing the incidence of illness and death. This is accomplished by assessing community needs, staying current on emergency preparedness, adopting and enforcing health regulations as per the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Rather than reacting to situations when they occur, we will continue to approach all health concerns by emphasizing education and prevention.
