How to Become an Election Worker...

The Town Clerk's Office is looking for enthusiastic individuals who can work at the upcoming elections. If you are interested in this paid opportunity, please complete an Election Worker Application online or fill out the Election Worker Profile and submit it to the Town Clerk's Office.

Election Worker Training is mandatory before being scheduled to work each election.

Our Election Worker Training is online. After watching the training videos and passing the required test(s), for the position(s) that you are seeking, a certificate of completion will be issued. This certificate will qualify you to be eligible to work the next election.

Wardens, Clerks, and Floaters (formerly known as Election Resource Officers) are required to watch all of the Election Training Videos and the take the following Tests:

All other Election Workers must watch the video(s) below, for the position(s) they are interested in filling, and then take the test(s) designated for their desired or assigned position(s).  As there is sometimes cross coverage of positions at the polls, feel free to watch all videos and take all tests. This will qualify you to move up and fill vacancies as they arise.
