The Chelmsford Health Department invites parents, teens, educators, and community members to the Escape the Vape Symposium on Tuesday, October 7 at 5:00 PM at the Chelmsford Performing Arts Center. This free event will raise awareness about the dangers of vaping and empower families with practical strategies for prevention.
The evening will feature a keynote presentation by Ashley Hall, MS, Director of the Merrimack Valley Area Health Education Center (AHEC), who will share expert insights on vaping trends, health risks, and ways to support teens in making healthy choices. Attendees can explore the interactive “Hidden in Plain Sight” display presented by the SAFE Coalition, designed to educate parents on how vaping products can be hidden in everyday objects.
In addition to learning opportunities, the symposium will offer free pizza, lots of exciting prizes, and a free Chelmsford hoodie for the first 100 attendees. Local organizations, including the Chelmsford Police and Fire Departments, will host resource tables to provide information and ongoing support for families.
This engaging and informative event is open to the entire community—don’t miss this chance to learn, connect, and take action to keep our youth healthy and vape-free.
