Memorial Day Parade & Program
The Last Monday in May

North Chelmsford or Chelmsford Town Center
The Town of Chelmsford observes Memorial Day on the last Monday of May each year, with the parade and program location alternating annually between North Chelmsford and Chelmsford Town Center. The parade begins at 10:00 AM and is followed by a tribute program, which takes place at the North Town Common when in North Chelmsford, and at the Town Center Common when in the center. The observance is hosted by local Veterans organizations: Alberton W. Vinal American Legion Post 313 for North Chelmsford and Merrimack Valley Vietnam Veterans Inc. for Town Center. The 2025 Memorial Day event will be hosted in Chelmsford Town Center. Everyone is invited to join in the commemoration.

Our parade is the best in the region! The Chelmsford Lions Club sponsors a Country Fair on the Common that provides fun, food, and games for the entire family.

The Chelmsford Board of Health presents the annual Fall Festival! Enjoy a fun autumn day and meet a princess or a superhero from Party Palace. Or, visit the petting zoo and touch a truck. The event will provide you with music, food, drinks, ice cream and many event vendors. We hope to see you there!

Veterans Day Observance

Chelmsford Veterans Memorial Park
The Chelmsford Veterans Day observance is held annually on Veterans Day, commencing at 11:00 AM (11/11 at 11!). The ceremony takes place at Chelmsford Veterans Memorial Park, 230 North Road, adjacent to McCarthy Middle School. Everyone is welcome to join us, come rain or shine!
